Spine Care Center History

Spine Care Center (SCC) began in 2010 when founder Prof. Dr Basem Henry, realized that there was a large population of patients with chronic pain and nowhere to turn for medical help. He had a vision to create a highly skilled staff with a commitment to patient care. Currently, Spine Care Center is one of the largest Interventional Spine Center in the Middle East, offering the broadest array of Interventional Spine management Procedures administered by the nation’s top staff.

During the past decade there has been great progress in treatment of spinal pain. Several high-tech treatments have emerged or been improved. These include fluoroscopy guided radiofrequency lesioning for back/neck pain, neuromodulation for post-surgical or non-operative pain, percutaneous disc decompression for bulging discs, vertebroplasty or kyphoplasty for vertebral compression fractures, and ultrasound guided injections for a multitude of musculoskeletal pain.

After a careful evaluation, our expert physicians and staff apply the latest technologies for diagnosis and treatment of the underlying condition. This unique multi-faceted approach to pain optimizes an individual and personalized treatment plan for each patient.
